Our recent showcase of fine Italian linens and bedding, Viva Italia, was a huge success! Block Bros at Home gold customers had the opportunity to meet Sigrid Wagner, founder and designer of SDH Fine European Linens, along with our SDH rep Mary Edman. Bob Lynam and Deb Bonefont were here representing Dea linens, and Mark Reed of Sferra. Sferra president Paul Hooker sent a magnificent floral arrangement, which Jeff Davis would have put in the trunk of the special edition Maserati Quattroporte he displayed (if it would have fit!).
Favorite Cleveland chef Doug Katz of Fire brought decadent Italian themed hors d'oeuvres, and the strolling accordian player was a hit! We were quite flattered when Sigrid told us that this was the most luxurous and wonderful store event she'd EVER been a part of. Customers seemed to be having a delightful time, but the happiest of the night may have been our customer who, after expressing remorse that his favorite SDH pajamas had been discontinued, learned that Sigrid would custom make new pairs for him from SDH sheeting fabric. He can sleep well once again!
